Vera Smart Healthcare was founded in 2019, after it branched out from the 2016-founded North Carolina-based company Fellow Healthtech. Headquartered in the US, Vera also has an office in Hyderabad. Vera Healthcare has accelerated and pumped in the latest and leading edge technology into healthcare – from digitising the health of the land to AI powered Virtual Smart Hospitals, an all-encompassing mobile hospital to converting hamlets into model smart villages, Vera has even technologised the government’s way to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic by deploying apps and revolutionary testing on wheels. In April 2020 The Public Health and Family Welfare Department of the Government of Telangana announced that it has deployed India’s first automated COVID-19 Monitoring System App. The application, developed by Vera Smart Healthcare, is used to identify, undertake live surveillance, track, monitor, and provide real-time analytics to the Chief Minister and the Health Department of the state.
