Govind Singh is MD and CEO at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank. He also served as member of the Working Group to review the Business Correspondent (BC) Model in India. Prior to setting up Utkarsh, he was with ICICI Bank Ltd. in Rural, Micro & Agri Business Group as the Business Head for Micro Banking. He also worked in Retail Liabilities Group with ICICI Bank. During this ICICI Bank stint, he got extensive exposure in Microfinance, Business Correspondent, Jewel Loans, Liabilities, Infra and Channel Management, Branch Licencing and various products & processes of related functions. He is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and a Commerce Graduate from Delhi University.
