What kind of jewellery does Silverstreak offer? Are you into a specific kind of jewellery?

Silverstreak is a silver jewellery store which caters to silver jewellery for everyone. It was started in 2003 by Vishal Chhabria and now with 2 branches in Mumbai - One in Khar and the other in Bandrs. We have a range of jewellery from casual work wear, funky jewellery for the fun loving to party and formal occasion wear. The range extends from plain silver to antique jewellery to semi-precious stones, gold plated, zircons and marcasite. The jewellery is well crafted and finely finished. Also available different collections from different jewellery designers. Its the right place if your looking for something different and out of the ordinary.

We are planning to launch our website very soon so that people from all over the world can have access to jewellery from Silverstreak.

What has been the biggest challenge for you as an entrepreneur?

The biggest challenge was to set up a stand alone Silver jewellery outlet in a by lane in Khar and start from scratch in Mumbai.

What decision do you feel could have been better executed in hindsight?

I compromised on the location and took a shop in the lane rather than on the main road due to limited funds. My growth would have been much faster if i were located on the main road.

Is your work recognized by any entities?

The recognition of my work is through the customer satisfaction and loyalty. silverstreak has many loyal customers

What keeps you enthused despite the difficulties of an entrepreneurial life?

I love my work and am always looking to introduce new ranges at Silverstreak. Always innovating something new.

What’s the first thing on your to-do list?

Start my website so that I can reach people all over the world with my range.

What kind of online presence do you have at the moment?

We are currently on facebook and connecting to new members every day.
