Stealth startup Mojostreet secures USD 350k funding for its location based mobile game. Aims for India launch by first week of May.

Stealth startup Mojostreet announced today that it has secured USD 350k funding for its location based mobile game. The funding was led by Srini Koppolu former MD of Microsoft India R&D and J.A. Chowdary former MD of Nvidia(India).

Kalyan Manyam, Founder & CEO, Mojostreet, said, “With 600 million plus mobile phones across India and data plans becoming more affordable, location based services are going to play a crucial role in community based entertainment & ecommerce. We are excited about the possible ways Mojostreet can influence real world experiences and commerce.”

Mojostreet is a location based real world game, friend finder, city guide, social network and rewards all rolled into one app on your smartphone! It lets you compete with your friends through location specific actions. Mojostreet will be made available for Blackberry, Nokia, IPhone and Android users.

The service is expected to be made available via a Invite only private beta by first week of May. Those who wish to be part for the private beta launch can register at www.mojostreet.com
