Startups, Are You Looking for Interns? IIT-B Students are Available
E-Cell is launching a new initiative which will give 1st year undergraduates at IIT-B an opportunity to pursue an internship at a start-up. There are many 1st year students who wish to spend their summers constructively but due to lack of internship opportunities, end up spending the summer at home.
The dynamic work environment of a start-up will be a great learning experience for students early on. Also, several new ventures and start-ups have shown great interest in hiring interns. This initiative will, therefore, act as a platform connecting 1st year students and start-ups.
The summer vacation has already started and the students will be available from now upto July 15. The startups don’t need to provide accommodation if they’re based in Mumbai as the students would stay in the hostel and in case of other cities, appropriate arrangements can be settled on by both parties.
