Nexus Venture Partners, India’s leading venture capital fund has announced the opening of its Bengaluru office and additions to its team to further strengthen its abilities to partner with Indian entrepreneurs.Nexus Venture Partners’ office in Bengaluru is being started by Sameer Verma who has relocated from the firm’s Mumbai office. Sameer has been actively involved in early stage investing in technology companies for several years in both the US and India. He has been involved in companies such as Cloudbyte, Stoke, Tessolve and One97. Sameer is a technologist with prior experience as a solutions architect at Ericsson and at UTStarcom. Nexus plans to add to the Bengaluru team over the coming months.

Parag Dhanuka has joined the investment team in Mumbai. Prior to Nexus, Parag started a company in online education. Parag also has several years of operating experience in technology at Google and Komli Media and consulting experience at The Boston Consulting Group. Parag has an MBA from Indian School of Business, a B. Tech in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur, and holds two US patents.
Arun Madhu joins the Mumbai office as General Counsel from Phoenix Legal. He has significant transactional experience with VC/PE funds and has also advised entrepreneurs and companies on investments and exits. Arun started his career at Trilegal.
