IAN invests in Bangalore Based in-site search company, Unbxd; Manav Garg to Join the Board

Indian Angel Network has ramped up their funding activities and in an announcement today, disclosed their investment in Unbxd. Bangalore based company Unbxd offers web and search analytics for e-commerce sites. Co-Founded by **Pavan Sondur and Prashant Kumar**, Unbxd has gained traction and has 15 customers currently including the likes of IndiaPlaza and TravelGuru.

“The funding will be utilized to grow our team further and build on the product which will increasingly target clients who need 'search' but cannot afford chunkier enterprise solutions,” informed Pavan. Manav Garg, an IAN member will be joining the board. The team strength of Unbxd currently stands at 11 and being a reason for the investment, Manav told us, “We really liked the passionate young duo of Pavan and Prashant. Apart from the team, the ‘search in cloud’ space excites us and is something very relevant to the market currently.”

This investment takes the tally to 11 for IAN this year and one can expect more deals closing as we near the end of the year.
