Announcing WebSparks winners for the month of February; Traverik is the WebSparks company of the month

Five new companies have emerged as the winners of the second month of WebSparks, the online campaign which is a showcase of the best consumer internet startups in India. The month of February has seen roaring response from the many companies that applied for the contest. As usual, Qualcomm Ventures had its hands full in deciding the winners and have come up with four bright and upcoming companies which have been adjudged as the winners for this month -

The winning company for the month of February is Traverik, a tool for hassle free travel planning. It allows users to build a custom travel plan with friends

and family. The team is a bunch of travel enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds with a single aim of making social travel planning cool and fun.

Tied at second place are Giveter and Gifting Nation -

Giveter partners with various online e-commerce portals(25 and counting) and from inventory of these partners it provides gift items, and its secret

algorithm gives the user the best recommendation. Suggestions of gift ideas are based on age, relationship, occasion, personality and mood. Also, one can filter results based on price range and delivery date.

Gifting Nation - A gifting ecommerce portal that specializes in gourmet products, along with other comprehensive assortments.

Coming in at third place is LostBeat, a platform for musicians to stage their talent and connect to their fans.

And the final winner for this month’s WebSparks is Eventifier, a tool that makes information flow and archiving of event data easy.

This is the second month of this 3 month long online campaign. In the coming months, we will see more exciting and emerging startups in this space.
