Introducing TechSparks Chennai 2013 speaker: Murugavel Janakiraman, Founder, BharatMatrimony
TechSparks is the flagship event of YourStory that is a recognition platform for technology product startups in India. In its 4th edition now, TechSparks is a multi city event which is now coming to Chennai after going to Kochi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi.
The event is scheduled for July 27, 2013 at the IC&SR Auditorium, IIT Madras. The first in the amazing line of speakers is Murugavel Janakiraman, Founder & CEO, Matrimony.com Pvt.Ltd., better known as Bharat Matrimony, an Indian Internet conglomerate with presence in matrimony, property and related businesses.
He is one of the experienced and seasoned entrepreneurs of India and will be sharing his learnings of building and scaling up Matrimony.com which was ranked among the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 companies in India in 2011, 2009 and 2008. Matrimony.com was also listed as one of the top 50 companies in NASSCOM's 100 IT Innovators. Murugavel’s other initiatives include Elite Matrimony, PrivilegeMatrimony, more than 150 retail outlets across India, over 350 community-based matrimony portals, Indiaproperty, a leading property portal in India and MatrimonyGifts, a gifting portal specializing in wedding gifts.
Murugavel is going to deliver the Keynote speech at the Chennai edition of TechSparks and his 45 minute talk will be one full of his experiences of building and scaling up his business in India and the lessons learnt along the way.
