Cloud-based video infrastructure startup Turtle Yogi Technologies Pvt Ltd, which runs 1Click, has raised a seed round of investment led by Blume Ventures, Shead Holdings (US-based micro venture capital firm), R Narayanan (member Chennai Angels), along with Google Singapore executive Rahul Garg. The investment is said to be in the range of $250,000 to 350,000.

The Bangalore-based company will use the capital to build on its B2B sales and expand its product offering. Following the round, Blume Ventures joins 1Click’s board.1Click is a pluggable video infrastructure and turnkey solution for video collaboration needs of business enterprises hosted in the cloud. Importantly, 1Click’s clients don’t require to downloads or install plug-ins, application and any software.

Speaking about the investment, managing partner at Blume Ventures Karthik Reddy said, "Classic peer-to-peer videos have been around for some time, but now small as well as large enterprises are integrating it into their work flows. Combined with geographic complexity of physical interaction and ubiquity of high speed networks and mobility, it will have to become the de-facto solution."

The company was founded in 2012 by Hrishikesh Kulkarni, a former employee of video and audio telecommunications company LifeSize Communications. Turtle Yogi was incubated at NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, the startup incubation hub of the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

“We are getting decent traction from various sectors. At present we serve clients like HDFC Bank, CareerVita, Edu-Next and First Source,” says Hrishikesh. On the product development front, 1Click is working on extending its presence on Android and iOS phones and tablets.
