Despite losing his parents and grandfather recently, Anjani Anjan from Patna cracks UPSC
To stay focused in the eye of a storm is a test of one’s determination and conviction. Anjani Anjan is proving just that. A resident of Buddha Colony, Patna, Anjani has passed the UPSC exam and secured the 148th rank in the country. Why is his achievement noteworthy? Anjani lost both his parents on 26 March this year. Under these circumstances, a person’s world would have changed overnight. But Anjani did not let this crisis affect his larger goal.
Anjani studied Marine Engineering for about three years after which he quit the programme and focused on the UPSC exam. He has cleared the exam on his third attempt-something Anjani would have loved to celebrate with his near and dear ones. Unfortunately, Anjani lost his grandfather just thirteen days ago.
It is anticipated that Anjani will get an opportunity to serve in the Bihar Cadre of the IPS. His sister is pursuing a PhD from IIT. Along with his sister, he has two uncles who are happy for Anjani.
Think Change India salutes Anjani’s strength and wishes him all the very best for his future.
