Magicbricks.com, which is into property listing business, has launched four new services to make the home buying process hassle-free for customers. Magicbricks.com CEO Sudhir Pai told reporters that,

Property buying is a complex process. Moving beyond property listing, we have now launched a bunch of products that help a consumer at different stages of the buying process

Explaining the new services, he said the company has launched a mobile app PropWorth that aims to become the de-facto price benchmark app for all buyers, sellers and agents across the country.

PropWorth can be used to know the right price of any property in eight major cities. We are using data from multiple sources, including those available in listing, to derive the property price, he said.

These eight cities are Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune.

Apart from this, Magicbricks has started a service called Advice to guide users in taking informed decisions. Products like Buy vs Rent Calculator are available in this service.

The portal will also start a forum where industry experts will answer queries of prospective buyers. A paid service Premium has been started for sellers.

Each of these services uniquely addresses specific pain areas in the buying cycle of a consumer. From a transparent price-discovery of a property, to having a forum to discuss property queries to offering premium personalised paid services, we believe such initiatives empower the customers to make better informed decisions, Pai said.

Magicbricks.com is owned by Magicbricks Realty Services Ltd, which is a subsidiary of Times Internet Ltd, the digital arm of The Times of India Group.
