Amazon Pay aims to be not just a wallet; with Run and Body, Mobiefit sees a healthier nation

Amazon Pay aims to be not just a wallet; with Run and Body, Mobiefit sees a healthier nation

Not just a wallet — that’s the message Amazon Pay’s India head Mahendra Nerukar wants to send out about the ecommerce giant’s payments arm. Mahendra calls Pay a payment container providing multiple options to customers and merchants. The idea is to see what issues a customer faces at different pit stops of his online payment or shopping journey and offer solutions that solve each of these challenges and not force fit one solution to all the problems. This could be through the wallet, stored cards, EMIs or even UPI.

Seeing a gap for on-demand home services, Rakesh Gupta, Jeet Narayan Singh and Gagneet Singh Ahuja ventured to start up with Lifeasy, which makes things easy for thousands of people, addressing the challenges of getting skilled, reliable technicians. Lifeasy is not a marketplace, but a pure-play, full-scale service provider.

Mobiefit has two mobile apps - Mobiefit Run and Body. As the names suggest, Run focuses on helping people with basic and advanced skills to run distances from 5 km to up to 42 km. In its previous avatar, the app was called FirstRun.
