Netmeds acquires clinic management platform KiViHealth
The acquisition is an example of a technology-powered health care application catering to the 'modern-day' doctor, says Netmeds Founder Pradeep Dadha.
Chennai-based healthcare ecommerce portal Netmeds announced on Monday that it has acquired clinic management platform KiViHealth in a cash and stock deal. According to the press release, Netmeds will invest close to $10 million to integrate and grow KiViHealth.

Pradeep Dadha, Founder and CEO of Netmeds, said in a press statement:

Dadha Pharma-promoted Netmeds has so far served more than 3.7 million customers in more than 610 Indian towns and cities.
In September last year, Netmeds announced the acquisition of telemedicine portal JustDoc in a stock-and-cash deal. With the acquisition, Netmeds entered the diagnostic and consultation segment.
KiViHealth is a cloud-based and Aritificial Intelligence (AI) powered clinic management platform. It has developed a digital prescription pad tool that allows doctors to generate digital prescriptions. The platform currently manages over two million patient records, and provides services to more than 2,000 doctors. On the acquisition by Netmeds, Bhanu Mahajan, Co-founder of KiViHealth said,

KiViHealth also uses AI, automation and visual aids to create a healthcare management information system and an online clinic. It is currently enrolled with over 3,100 hospitals and health centres. Rajandeep Singh, Co-founder of KiviHealth said,
