Metadome.ai bags $6.5M in funding led by Siana Capital

Metadome.ai, a startup specialising in extended reality (XR), has raised $6.5 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Siana Capitaland existing investor Chiratae Ventures, with new investments from Alteria Capital, 3to-1 Capital, and Manish Choksi’s family office.

The fresh capital will be used to expand the business into new regions and enhance capabilities by integrating advanced XR technologies with the latest advancements in AI (artificial intelligence) for consumers.

"Metadome.ai has revolutionised customer engagement through the use of its Xtended Reality (XR) platform which helps enterprises to go live almost instantly and also helps its customers in converting the engagement to business/revenue. This is ahead of the curve on a global basis and we expect Metadome.ai to scale rapidly on a global scale beyond our shores," said TC Meenakshisundaram, Founder and Vice Chairman of Chiratae Ventures.

The company, based in Gurugram, focuses on enhancing sales through virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) solutions across the home decor, ecommerce, and mobility sectors.

According to Statista, the XR industry has attracted $1.9 billion in investment, emphasising the importance of 3D, AR, and VR technologies in improving the customer buying experience.

Since its launch in 2018, Metadome.ai has experienced organic growth, with its customer base more than doubling over the past year, according to the company.

Metadome.ai is also a participant in NVIDIA's Inception program and Google Startup programs, and has been awarded 'Best AR/VR Company' for two consecutive years.

Founded in 2016 by Kanav Singla, Kartik Kanaujia, and Shorya Mahajan, Metadome.ai specialises in cutting-edge 3D, AR, and VR experiences, enhancing customer engagement and product visualisation across diverse industries.
