WTFund, the non-dilutive grant and mentorship initiative founded by entrepreneur and investor Nikhil Kamath, has opened applications for its third cohort, titled C1/25.
The programme is focused exclusively on supporting first-time entrepreneurs under the age of 25 from across India. Applications will remain open till May 31, 2025.
The initiative aims to improve access to early-stage capital and professional networks for young founders, irrespective of their geography or background. Each selected startup will receive a Rs 20 lakh grant with no equity dilution, along with structured mentorship, operational guidance, and access to a network of experienced industry operators and investors.
Since its launch in 2024, WTFund has received over 5,000 applications and disbursed grants to high-potential startups across more than 50 cities. The programme remains sector-agnostic, supporting a wide range of domains including SaaS, fintech, edtech, D2C, healthtech, agritech, and clean tech.
The fund also lays focus on emerging areas such as AI, clean energy, agri innovation, and consumer technology. Its approach offers strategic assistance throughout the startup lifecycle—from idea validation and go-to-market planning to preparation for institutional fundraising.
In addition to financial support, WTFund also offers hands-on support. Selected founders gain access to domain experts, seasoned mentors, and operational know-how.
With its third cohort, WTFund continues to focus on enabling scalable ventures and reducing entry barriers for India’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
