AI-focused Wyser Capital marks first close of maiden fund
The venture capital firm said it has raised 40% of its targeted Rs 120 crore corpus to back Enterprise and Agentic AI startups.
Specialty venture focused fund Wyser Capital on Wednesday raised about Rs 48 crore to mark the first close of its maiden fund. The company said it has raised 40% of its targeted Rs 120 crore corpus.
The early-stage VC firm, which will focus on investments in Enterprise and Agentic AI, will invest between Rs 2-5 crore in portfolio startups with provision for follow-on capital for winner companies.
Wyser is also looking to make investments across vertical and domain-specific AI applications, AI tooling and infrastructure, and enterprise-focused Physical AI. The firm looks to invest in enterprise-focused startups at formative stages to help with technical and operational expertise, it noted.
“Wyser Capital is built to be a long-term partner to founders. Beyond capital, we bring access to enterprise networks and deep operating experience. Select investors associated with the first close are formally engaging beyond capital, through Investment Committee participation and founder mentoring,” said Suresh Vaswani, Co-founder, General Partner and Chairman.
The fund’s first close saw participation from CEOs and CXOs from technology companies, industry operations, and institutional investors.
Wyser Capital was founded by Suresh Vaswani, Supria Dhanda and Satyakam Mohanty. The firm last participated in a funding round in Pype AI’s $1.2 million pre-Seed funding round along with Kalaari Capital and Tenity.
“The first close reflects strong alignment with discerning investors–including seasoned business leaders, technologists, and institutions, who recognise AI’s transformative impact on the enterprise landscape. For subsequent closes, we will continue to buildon our above investor base and expand our coverage with family offices and institutions,” said Supria Dhanda, Co-founder and Managing Partner.
