InfoEdge’s Q2 profit grows 4X, revenue from operations grows 15%
The parent company of Naukri.com had an uptick in profit primarily due to a deferred credit transferred during the period.
InfoEdge, the parent company of Naukri.com and Jeevansathi.com, has reported a 15% increase in its revenue from operations for the the three months ended September 30, driven by income from its recruitment solutions vertical.
The company reported a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 805.4 crore in Q2 FY25 compared to Rs 700.8 crore in the year-ago period. It also saw a 4X jump in net profit for the quarter to Rs 347.4 core compared to Rs 84.7 crore, primarily due to a deferred tax of Rs 320 crore in the year-ago period.
The Sanjeev Bikhchandani-led firm reported a 12.1% year-on-year growth in standalone billings for the quarter at Rs 729.0 crore, the company said in a statement. Its recruitment solutions vertical grew about 13% to Rs 558.2 crore during this period.
Billings in the recruitment business grew 10.8%, while the non-recruitment portfolio, which includes real-estate platform 99acres, matchmaking platform Jeevansathi, and education platform Shiksha, combined, grew 16.3%.
“Business growth remained stable in Q2FY26 with improved cash generation. The recruitment business continued to show resilience amid an uncertain hiring environment. 99acres and Jeevansathi maintained their growth momentum while continuing to gain market share,” said Hitesh Oberoi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Shares of the company closed up 2.67% at Rs 1376.95 apiece on BSE after the results on Wednesday.
