Tech startup Aerchain raises $13M in Series A round led by Pavestone VC
The Bengaluru-headquartered startup, which is focused on the procurement segment, plans to use the funding for market expansion and to strengthen its AI capabilities.
Tech startup Aerchain has raised $13 million in a Series A round of funding led by Pavestone VC. The round also saw participation from IndiaMART and other investors.
The Bengaluru-headquartered startup is focused on the procurement segment. It plans to use the funding for market expansion and to strengthen its AI capabilities as it builds what it calls the 'Spend Operating System'.
The system is a platform designed to bring in a change in enterprise procurement: from being a reactive cost centre to a proactive business driver.
Aerchain's Co-founder & CEO, Harsha Kadimisetty, said, "The future of procurement is a system that thinks for you, acts on your behalf, and comes to you only when it needs a decision. We're building procurement agents that run 24/7, proactively finding savings, flagging risks, and executing on opportunities before anyone has to ask. This funding accelerates this transformation across enterprises at a much bigger scale."
According to the startup, professionals still spend around 80% of their time on low-value operational tasks, resulting in lower savings and poor compliance.
Aerchain says its Spend Operating System automates 80% of operational procurement work. Its AI agents prepare analysis, surface benchmarks, draft negotiation playbooks, and analyse the spending pattern to provide actionable recommendations.
This startup notes that its tech platform is built from the ground up on a multi-agent AI architecture. Specialised AI agents operate across the entire procurement lifecycle: from conversational intake, statement of work (SOW) generation, vendor discovery, and request for quotation (RFQ) automation to autonomous negotiation, evaluation, award, invoice management, and payment tracking.
Pavestone VC's Managing Partner V Laxmikanth said, “Aerchain is re-architecting procurement through an AI-first platform that delivers measurable efficiency and cost outcomes for global enterprises. Its strong adoption, scalable model, and clear product leadership position it well for sustained value creation in a large and under-digitised market."
