FirstCry losses narrow 61% while revenue rises 12% in Q4 of FY26
FirstCry managed to bring down its losses while the revenue grew in double digits
Brainbee Solutions, the parent company of omnichannel retailer FirstCry, saw its losses narrow by 61% while revenue grew by 12% for the three month period between January and March of 2026 (Q4).
FirstCry reported a loss of Rs 30.30 crore for the fourth quarter as compared to Rs 76.74 crore registered in the similar period a year ago. However, revenue touched Rs 2162.66 crore for the fourth quarter as against Rs 1930.31 crore a year ago.
For the full fiscal of FY26, FirstCry reported a loss of Rs 140 crore as compared to Rs 191.4 crore in FY25 which resulted in a decline of 27%. The revenue grew 12% to touch Rs 8547.94 crore for FY26 as against Rs 7659.61 crore in FY25.
The India market remained the largest contributor to the revenues of the company at 69% for the fourth quarter of FY26 with remaining contributions coming from overseas markets and its consumer products brand Globalbees.
The company, in its investor presentation, said it witnessed sequential improvement in YoY growth rate for revenue, despite heightened competitive intensity during the quarter. The gross merchandise value (GMV) was Rs 11,643 crore for FY26 which was a 10% growth when compared to FY25.
FirstCry said 78% of the GMV came from online India multi-channel retail while it had 11.03 million annual unique transacting customers. The FirstCry mobile app saw download of 193 million. Around 22% of the GMV came from offline stores and the company has 1189 modern stores.
It said 36% of the GMV was generated by the top 50 cities in FY26 from cross channel customers which included both offline and online.
