View Brand PublisherFrom AI infrastructure to product strategy: Atlassian Unleash reveals agenda for inaugural Unleash summit
Featuring voices such as Dr. Pramod Varma and Mukund Jha among others, the Unleash summit will explore what it takes to build and scale in an AI-native world, from distributed systems and platform engineering to product leadership and intelligent workflows.
The conversation around AI has evolved. For most technology leaders, the question is no longer whether AI will change the way software is built. The real challenge now lies in implementation. How do organizations integrate AI into existing workflows? How do teams maintain trust, speed, and alignment as systems become more intelligent? And what does it take to build products and platforms that can evolve alongside this shift?
These are some of the questions that will take center stage at Atlassian Unleash, Atlassian's flagship invitation-only tech summit in association with YourStory, taking place on June 13 in Bengaluru.
Anchored around the theme ‘Future of teamwork, built intelligently’, the summit is designed to explore how modern organizations are building and operating systems in an AI-native world.
Here's a look at the conversations set to shape the day.
Insights from the architects of modern technology
The day begins with a series of plenary keynotes featuring leaders who have helped shape India's digital and AI ecosystem.
Leading the lineup is Dr Pramod Varma, the architect behind IndiaStack and Co-founder & Chief Architect at NFH and FIDE, who will deliver the marquee keynote themed, ‘Reimagining value exchange for the intelligent era’. His session will explore how value exchange may evolve as intelligent agents become participants in digital ecosystems.
Joining him on the main stage are Kumaresh Pattabiraman , Country Head and VP Product, LinkedIn and Mukund Jha, Founder and CEO of Emergent, both of whom are building AI infrastructure and platforms for the next generation of software and enterprise applications.
The plenary sessions will also feature Atlassian leaders Regunath Balasubramanian and Anand Narayanan, offering Atlassian's perspective on how AI, platform thinking, and systems of work are reshaping collaboration across teams.
Three tracks focused on the realities of building at scale
The afternoon program branches into three dedicated tracks: two engineering tracks and one product track. Together, they reflect the challenges many organizations are currently navigating as AI moves from experimentation into production.
The engineering tracks will focus on the systems and infrastructure that power modern software organizations. Topics range from platform architecture and distributed systems to security, observability, commerce infrastructure, developer productivity, and AI-assisted operations.
The engineering tracks will feature leaders who have built and operated some of the country's most widely used technology platforms. Speakers, including Sharath Bulusu, Senior Director, Google Pay & Wallet at Google; and Utkarsh B, Technology Leader and Tech Advisor at Xmplify.tech and former Chief Architect at Flipkart, will share lessons drawn from years of scaling products, infrastructure, and engineering organizations in high-growth environments.
The product track shifts the focus to how organizations are adapting product strategy and workflows for an AI-native future. Discussions will examine how AI is influencing decision-making, product development, and the role of product leaders as software teams adopt new ways of working. Sessions from leaders across Atlassian and the broader ecosystem will explore what it takes to build products that translate technical capability into meaningful customer outcomes.
A fireside conversation featuring product and technology leaders, including Khilan Haria of Razorpay will further explore how product, engineering, and AI are converging inside modern organizations.
Deep dives into architecture, AI, and scale
Beyond the marquee speakers, the agenda features a series of technical deep dives and workshops focused on the realities of operating systems at scale.
Sessions will explore how organizations are building and operating large-scale work graphs, modernizing enterprise commerce platforms, embedding AI into security workflows, improving incident management, and creating unified data foundations for increasingly complex product ecosystems.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on Rovo Agents Lab, where they can build and experiment with AI agents while exploring practical applications of agentic workflows.
Building a platform for deeper conversations
Unlike large industry conferences designed around scale, Unleash is intended as a curated gathering of technologists tackling some of the most pressing challenges in modern software development. The audience includes Heads of Engineering, Principal Engineers, Architects, Product Leaders, and AI practitioners navigating questions around AI adoption, workflow infrastructure, and platform engineering.
The agenda reflects that intent. Rather than focusing on broad predictions about AI, the discussions center on implementation, trade-offs, and lessons learned from teams working in production environments.
As AI becomes increasingly embedded in how organizations build products and collaborate, those conversations are only becoming more relevant.
