FirstClub bags $55M in Series B round led by Peak XV, Sofina
FirstClub said the funding will be used to expand into new cities and strengthen its supply chain as it forays into newer categories.
FirstClub, the quick commerce app founded by former Flipkart executive Ayyappan R, has raised $55 million in a Series B round of funding led by Peak XV Partners and Sofina, with participation from existing investors Accel, RTP Global, and Paramark Ventures.
The company said the fresh funding will be used to expand into new cities, strengthen its quality-first grocery ecosystem, introduce new categories such as beauty & personal care, home essentials, and pet care. Besides, the capital will also be used for deepening its technology and supply chain capabilities.
Founded in September 2024, FirstClub has raised a total of $31 million across three funding rounds, including a $22 million Series A round in September 2025.
Currently operating in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, the company said it has crossed one million orders within its first year of operations. As part of its quality-first strategy, FirstClub screens fruits for sweetness and inspects vegetables for blemishes, bruises, and other defects before listing them on the platform. It also conducts extensive laboratory testing of staple products such as milk, atta, paneer, and pulses to ensure high standards of quality, purity, and consistency.
FirstClub Founder Ayyappan R said, “For our customers, quality comes first, especially when it comes to the food they give their families - not just speed. By banning over 200 harmful ingredients and lab-testing products before it reaches our shelves, we're building a standard of trust that has never existed in Indian retail. This fund raise takes that commitment to millions of households who have always deserved better.”
Ayyappan R was a senior VP at Flipkart, CEO of Cleartrip and CBO at Myntra.
Peak XV Partners Managing Director G V Ravishankar said, “The first wave of quick commerce was built for speed. FirstClub is building for trust. With an explosion of D2C brands, customers need a neutral platform that curates for quality.”
