Higher-education online platform UNIVO ropes in Nitin Golani as CEO to focus on learner outcomes
With Golani's appointment, UNIVO aims to strengthen its position in online higher education through learner-focused programmes, university partnerships, and AI-driven personalised learning experiences.
UNIVO, an online company focused om higher education, has appointed Nitin Golani as its chief executive officer.
The company said Golani will focus on learner outcomes, university partnerships, and AI for personalised learning, essentially systems that tailor study paths more closely to individual needs.
“Higher education is undergoing a significant transformation driven by technology, accessibility, and evolving learner expectations,” Golani noted.
Online higher education is no longer judged only by reach. It is increasingly judged by quality, compliance, and whether it genuinely improves employability and learner experience. UNIVO is trying to position itself sharply in this demanding environment.
As an online higher education partner, the company works with universities to design, launch and scale online degrees and certifications. It claims to serve more than 2 lakh learners across 130+ countries.
Golani brings to the table a combination of strategic leadership, operational expertise, and deep experience across education and digital businesses. He has spent more than two decades across education, technology and consumer sectors, with leadership roles at Aakash Educational Services, OYO, Ola Electric, Accenture Strategy, and MetLife.
UNIVO is relying on his experience in scaling organisations and consumer-focused businesses to guide the firm in its next stage of growth and innovation.
