Oncology startup 4baseCare closes Rs 128 Cr Series B round
4baseCare said the proceeds will be used to accelerate its global expansion, strengthen its genomics laboratory network, and scale its AI-powered precision oncology platform, OncoTwin.
Bengaluru-based precision oncology startup 4baseCare has closed its Series B funding round at Rs 128 crore, securing an additional Rs 38 crore in fresh capital led by growX Ventures, along with participation from existing investors.
The company had previously raised Rs 90 crore in January as part of the Series B round, co-led by investor Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, with backing from existing investor Yali Capital.
In a statement, 4baseCare said the proceeds will be used to accelerate its global expansion, strengthen its genomics laboratory network, and scale its AI-powered precision oncology platform, OncoTwin.
On the close of Series B round, 4baseCare co-founder & CEO Hitesh Goswami said, “The additional capital will help us expand our genomics lab network globally and further scale OncoTwin, our AI-based precision oncology platform, to support clinicians with deeper, real-world, clinically actionable insights.”
Founded in 2019 by Hitesh Goswami and Kshitij Rishi, 4baseCare is focused on addressing gaps in genomic data diversity that limit the effectiveness of precision cancer care for non-Western populations. This startup is expanding its hospital-linked genomics laboratory network across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Central Asia, to improve access to advanced genomic testing and precision cancer care.
Alongside geographic expansion, 4baseCare is continuing to strengthen its AI-driven clinical decision support capabilities through OncoTwin. The platform enables oncologists to derive treatment insights from real-world clinico-genomic and outcomes-linked datasets, helping improve clinical confidence and accelerate decision-making.
Ashish Taneja, Founder & CEO, growX ventures, said, “One of the biggest gaps in precision oncology today is the underrepresentation of non-Caucasian populations in genomic datasets, which limits the relevance of clinical decision-making. 4baseCare is addressing this through genomics infrastructure, clinically contextualised data, and AI-driven intelligence.
GrowX ventures is B2B focused venture capital firm and has made 49 investments since 2012 across the spaces of big data, AI, drones, spacetech, robotics/EVs, genomics, semiconductors, cybersecurity, and Defence. Among the key startups in its portfolio, include the likes of Pixxel, Locus, Progcap, Armory, Bellatrix Aerospace, Wiom, CynLr, Stashfin, and Lightspeed Photonics.
