He said that Bengaluru leads the U30 List with 21 young entrepreneurs, up from just seven last year.
Taking to 'X', Kharge, the Minister for Home, e-Governance, Electronics, IT, and BT congratulated all the young founders shaping the future from Karnataka.
"India's startup ecosystem is evolving rapidly, becoming younger, increasingly DeepTech-driven and more focused on hardware innovation. The latest Avendus Wealth-Hurun India U30 List 2026 reflects a broader shift in the country's innovation landscape, and Bengaluru continues to lead from the front," he said.
According to him, 18 of the companies featured on the U30 List are headquartered in Bengaluru, the highest for any city in the country.
He said the next wave of Indian startups is increasingly focused on DeepTech and HardTech, with strong momentum in AI, SpaceTech, Cybersecurity and advanced manufacturing.
The Minister said that this is a testament to Bengaluru's entrepreneurial spirit, world-class talent and collaborative innovation ecosystem.
"As we continue to invest in deeptech, R&D, skilling and founder-friendly policies, our focus remains on ensuring that Karnataka is the best place for ambitious entrepreneurs to build globally competitive companies," Kharge added.
