Ankit Jain, who has over 20 years of supply chain experience with companies including Unilever, Flipkart and Swiggy's Instamart, will lead the expansion of the quick-commerce service across key markets.
Beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa on Tuesday announced the appointment of Ankit Jain to head its quick-commerce vertical, Nykaa Now, as the company looks to expand its 30-60-minute delivery service nationwide.
Jain, who has over 20 years of supply chain experience with companies including Unilever, Flipkart and Swiggy's Instamart, will lead the expansion of the quick-commerce service across key markets, the company said in a statement.
Nykaa Now currently offers the delivery of over 1,000 brands within 30 to 60 minutes. Since its launch, the service has expanded to 13 key cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata.
Outlining its fulfilment roadmap, Nykaa said it aims to scale the quick-commerce service across all high-demand pockets in the country by the financial year 2029-30 (FY30).
The company is also targeting same-day or next-day delivery for 90% of all orders across India under its 'Nykaa Next Day' initiative. Additionally, it plans to leverage its network of over 320 retail stores for 'Nykaa Express', a hyperlocal service promising deliveries within two to three hours.
“At Nykaa, we are building a differentiated fulfilment ecosystem powered by technology, AI and deep execution excellence. Ankit’s experience in scaling complex supply chain and quick commerce operations makes him uniquely positioned to help us strengthen our network, accelerate Nykaa Now, and deliver exceptional customer experiences at scale,” said Anchit Nayar, Executive Director and CEO, Nykaa Beauty.
“As we look toward the next decade of growth, this investment in leadership capability will be a key enabler of our long-term vision for beauty commerce in India,” he added.
