Reliance Retail launches AJIO Beauty, expands footprint in personal care segment
The new platform combines the fashion-first digital reach of AJIO with the beauty expertise of Tira, the company's omnichannel beauty venture, to create what it described as a one-stop destination for skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrances, bath and personal care products.
Reliance Retail on Tuesday announced the launch of AJIO Beauty platform to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing beauty and personal care segment as part of its broader fashion and lifestyle ecosystem.
The new platform combines the fashion-first digital reach of AJIO with the beauty expertise of Tira, the company's omnichannel beauty venture, to create what it described as a one-stop destination for skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrances, bath and personal care products.
AJIO Beauty will offer products across value, bridge-to-luxury, premium and luxury categories, featuring more than 1,500 Indian and global brands, said a statement from Reliance Retail.
The platform will deliver to over 19,000 pin codes across the country, the company said, adding that a range of beauty products would also be available on AJIO Rush, its quick-commerce delivery service, in select cities.
"With AJIO Beauty, we are extending AJIO's fashion-first philosophy into the beauty space, creating a destination where customers can discover products that complement their individuality and lifestyle," said a spokesperson.
The company said the platform is designed to move beauty shopping beyond a purely transactional experience by incorporating trend discovery, curated routines, ingredient-led recommendations and personalised suggestions for users.
The launch comes as Reliance Retail continues to scale its lifestyle portfolio, integrating its fashion and beauty businesses to serve what it called the "evolving needs" of Indian consumers.
Reliance Retail, a subsidiary of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL), the holding company of all the retail companies under the RIL (Reliance Industries) group, operates an omnichannel network of 20,169 stores.
RRVL recorded a gross revenue of Rs 3.70 lakh crore for the year ended March 31, 2026.
