From a small room to a 100,000 sq m manufacturing powerhouse
Built on automation, in-house manufacturing, and a growing skilled workforce, Rohtak-based D-Lyft is taking precision engineering from Haryana to global markets.
Every manufacturing company has an origin story. D-Lyft began not in a sprawling factory, but in a small room with a handful of machines and a simple ambition. To prove that products engineered and manufactured in India could match global standards.
Today, that ambition has grown into a 100,000-square-metre manufacturing campus in Rohtak, Haryana, employing more than 400 people and exporting precision-engineered products to international markets. From robotic welding and laser cutting to CNC and VMC machining and automated finishing lines, the company has built an integrated manufacturing ecosystem that designs, engineers, and manufactures products entirely in-house.
The journey reflects a steady expansion in both capability and scale. What started as a modest manufacturing setup has evolved into a technology-driven operation serving two distinct business segments while investing in automation, skilled talent, and export-led growth.
Two businesses, one manufacturing philosophy
D-Lyft's manufacturing expertise today spans event infrastructure and mobility, with both businesses built on the same emphasis on precision engineering and in-house production.
Its event infrastructure division operates through three ventures. Giant Truss, an EN 1090-certified manufacturer, produces aluminium truss systems used for concerts, exhibitions and stadiums. Giant Productions delivers live event production services, including sound, lighting, LED and staging solutions, while Universal Tech Truss (UTT) which builds reliable, cost-effective truss structures for rental companies and event professionals.
The company's second business focuses on the bicycle industry. Alongside its premium bicycle brands Lucifire and Roadgiant, D-Lyft has established an OEM business that manufactures precision-engineered steel and aluminium bicycle frames for leading brands in India and overseas.
Supporting both segments is an automation-first manufacturing approach designed to combine speed, precision and flexibility for custom-engineered products.
Building capabilities at home
For Founder Arvind Singh, the company's growth has always represented something larger than business expansion

“When we started, we didn't set out just to build bicycles—we set out to prove a point: that world-class products don't need to be imported; they can be engineered and manufactured right here in India,” he says.
That vision has shaped the company's evolution over the years. “It grew step by step—from a small room to a 100,000 square metre manufacturing facility, from a handful of people to a 400-plus-strong team, and from importing components to manufacturing everything in-house.”
The shift to in-house manufacturing has also reduced the company's dependence on imported components. Parts that were once sourced overseas are now manufactured entirely at the Rohtak facility, giving D-Lyft greater control over quality while transforming it from an importer into an exporter of products manufactured in India.
“What I'm proudest of is the real, dignified employment we've created and the way we've reduced our country's dependence on imports by building capability at home,” Singh says. “Our journey is far from over—D-Lyft's biggest chapters are still ahead of us.”
Technology powered by people
While automation plays a central role in D-Lyft's manufacturing operations, the company attributes its growth equally to its people.
Its workforce has expanded to more than 400 employees across design, robotic welding technology, CNC and laser operations, assembly lines, quality control and export logistics. Alongside investments in advanced manufacturing technologies, D-Lyft has also focused on developing local talent through training and long-term career opportunities.
The company's growth has made it a significant source of employment in Haryana, creating opportunities across engineering, skilled and semi-skilled manufacturing, and corporate functions.
Expanding its global footprint
As its manufacturing capabilities have grown, D-Lyft has increasingly taken its products to international markets.
The company regularly participates in major global exhibitions to showcase its manufacturing capabilities and engage with international buyers and distributors. These engagements have helped open new export markets while strengthening D-Lyft's position as a global manufacturing company.
Looking ahead, the company plans to continue investing in automation, expand into new product categories and strengthen its international presence.
Its long-term vision is to build a globally recognised precision manufacturing business from India, setting benchmarks for quality, innovation and self-reliance across the industries it serves. Supporting that vision is a continued focus on designing and manufacturing products entirely in-house, reducing dependence on imports, creating skilled employment and delivering technology-driven products to customers in India and around the world.
