AI agent startup Runable raises $21M in Series A
Bengaluru-based Runable said it looks to expand its market reach, product capabilities, and team. The startup, which targets small businesses, claims to have reached $2 million in ARR within three weeks of launch.
Runable, a Bengaluru-based AI agent platform, has raised $21 million in a Series A round of funding co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners. This round also saw participation from existing investors Together Fund and Array VC.
Runable said it will primarily use the latest funding to expand its market reach, for product development, and for hiring.
Founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda, Runable helps small businesses to run their operations through its agents spanning tasks such as websites, mobile and internal apps, pitch decks, market analysis, prospect lists, marketing videos with database, auth, payments and deployment.
The startup’s AI agent platform also creates and schedules social content, tracking brand sentiment, competition, AEO, SEO, and customer support. Runable claimed that it has registered $2 million annual recurring revenue (ARR) within three weeks of its launch with 1.5 million users registered.
Runable co-founder & CEO Umesh Kumar said, “Nobody starts a business because they want a landing page. They start it because they want customers and revenue. Software creation got automated. Everything after it didn't. That's what Runable is for."
According to the startup, its 1.5 million users are mostly small business owners, typically with two person teams, running an agency, consultancy, cleaning company, etc., across the US, the UK, Japan, and Brazil.
“Most AI tools stop at output. Businesses need outcomes: customers, revenue, cash in the bank. That’s what Runable’s general purpose autonomous AI agent does: not just automate software creation but build, run and grow a business,” said Jishnu Bhattacharjee, Partner, Nexus Venture Partners.
“Durable value in AI will be created by helping users actually run their business, rather than just creating software. 95% of that revolves around customers, revenues and operations, which is exactly what Runable powers,” said Shubham Gupta, co-founder, Together Fund.
