Astrology platform InstaAstro raises $12M in Series A
InstaAstro will use the funding to build AI-led solutions, including sentiment analysis to help astrologers deliver more contextual consultations and multilingual support to improve the consultation experience across languages.
InstaAstro, a Noida-based online astrology platform, has raised $12 million in a Series A round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from its founders.
InstaAstro will use the funding to build AI-led solutions, including sentiment analysis to help astrologers deliver more contextual consultations and multilingual support to improve the consultation experience across languages. It also plans to expand its pooja seva and spiritual commerce businesses.
Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro had previously raised a cumulative Rs 21.7 crore in funding.
“We're committed to building the world's most trusted spiritual platform by prioritising quality over quantity," said Nitin Verma, Founder and CEO, InstaAstro.
Meanwhile, InstaAstro claimed that it has crossed Rs 200 crore in annualised revenue. The company reported revenue of Rs 52 crore in FY25, which rose to Rs 111.26 crore in FY26. Its user base has reached 12 million, growing around 400% over the past two years.
The startup has expanded beyond astrology consultations into segments such as tarot, numerology, vastu and other related disciplines. It has also ventured into pooja services, remedies, wellness products and spiritual commerce.
InstaAstro said it now has around 5,000 experts on its platform and serves users in India as well as overseas markets. In India, most users are from Tier 1 cities, while Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities have emerged as the fastest-growing markets. International markets account for around 25% of its revenue, driven primarily by the Indian diaspora.
On the investment into InstaAstro, Artha Venture Fund Managing Partner Anirudh A Damani said, “He (founder) spent 5 years on the unglamorous part: verified astrologers, quality scores, a reason to come back. The first consultation is marketing. The second one is a business."
The online astrology market is projected to touch $1.8 billion in size by 2030.
