Bakingo parent raises nearly Rs 100 Cr from Faering Capital
The company allotted 7,436 Series B compulsory convertible preference shares to the investors after receiving the subscription money, with the allotment approved by its board on July 30, 2026.
FA Gifts Private Limited, the Gurugram-based company behind online gifting platform FlowerAura and bakery brand Bakingo, has raised nearly Rs 100 crore from two funds managed by private equity firm Faering Capital.
The company allotted 7,436 Series B compulsory convertible preference shares to the investors after receiving the subscription money. The allotment was approved by FA Gifts’ board on July 30, 2026, according to the board resolution.
The investors are Faering Capital International Growth Fund III, which received 2,505 shares, and Faering Capital Growth Fund III, which received 4,931 shares. Both are alternative investment funds managed by Faering Capital, an Indian private equity firm focused on growth-stage businesses across areas including consumer and retail.
Faering’s international growth fund is designed for mid-market growth equity investments in India.
The securities carry a face value of Rs 100 each and were issued at Rs 1,34,477.51 apiece, including a premium of Rs 1,34,377.51. The latest resolution does not specify how this particular Rs 100 crore infusion will be deployed.
That is different from the company’s earlier disclosed fundraising in November 2023, when Faering Capital invested $16 million for a minority stake in FA Gifts. At the time, co-founder and director Himanshu Chawla said the capital would support Bakingo’s expansion into Tier-II and III cities, technology-led demand forecasting and offline stores.
Founded in 2010, FA Gifts began with FlowerAura, an online platform selling flowers and gifts, and added Bakingo in 2016. FlowerAura now offers flowers, cakes, plants, personalised gifts, hampers and other occasion-based products, with delivery across hundreds of Indian cities and international markets. Bakingo operates as the group’s online bakery.
The sector’s more established players are increasingly emphasising scale and profitability. Ferns N Petals, for example, reported 25% revenue growth in FY2026 and is targeting an IPO by 2028, while planning further store expansion and acquisitions.
Entrackr was first to report FA Gifts’ latest funding development.
