Delhivery reports 65% dip in profit, revenue up 28% in Q1
Delhivery also announced the elevation of Vani Venkatesh to the role of Deputy CEO, effective immediately. Ms Venkatesh joined the company in February 2025 as Chief Business Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, and has been leading the company’s revenue functions.
New-age logistics company Delhivery reported a 65% decline in profit, and its revenue rose by 28% for the first quarter of FY27. The drop in net profit was primarily due to integration costs of its Ecomm acquisition.
The net profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal was Rs 32 crore as compared to Rs 91 crore in the similar period a year ago. The revenue for this period came in at Rs 2,931 crore as compared to Rs 2,294 crore in the first quarter of FY26.
The company said in the first quarter it registered 322 million express shipments, which was 55.2% year-on-year (YoY) growth, and it saw 18.4% YoY growth in partial truck load (PTL) freight.
In a note, Delhivery said the growth in its transportation volumes reflect sustained market share gains and strong customer demand. It further added that the gains came from existing customers as well as new customer additions across D2C, SME, and consumer segments.
The company said it anticipates this healthy momentum to continue and expects overall express volume growth for FY27 to be in the range of 20-30%.
Delhivery said the investment in expanding the geographic spread of its business development teams has increased the pace of new client addition, apart from growth from existing customers. “We remain confident of delivering our overall target of 18-22% volume growth for FY27 with continued improvements in yield as well,” it said.
Meanwhile, the company also announced the elevation of Vani Venkatesh to the role of Deputy CEO, effective immediately. Ms Venkatesh joined the company in February 2025 as Chief Business Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, and has been leading the company’s revenue functions. In her expanded role, she will now oversee revenue, marketing and customer experience, while working closely with Delhivery’s Operations teams.
Delhivery also announced that its Chief Operating Officer and key management personnel Ajith Pai will be stepping down from his role.
