From Rs 9 workshops to 5 Million learners skilled for six-figure jobs: Inside Be10x’s growth playbook
Founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni, Be10x is expanding beyond low-cost workshops into certifications, AI workflow tools, and career programs as demand for practical AI skills grows.
As artificial intelligence moves from experimentation to everyday work, one question is becoming increasingly important: who will teach millions of professionals how to use it effectively?
That opportunity has given rise to a new wave of AI-first education startups, and Be10x is emerging as one of the fastest-growing players in the segment.
Founded in 2023 by IIT Kharagpur alumni Aditya Goenka and Aditya Kachave, the startup is building an AI upskilling platform focused on helping professionals integrate artificial intelligence into their daily workflows instead of merely learning the technology. It has trained more than five million learners through over 800 live workshops, while maintaining an average learner rating of 4.9 out of 5. The company says its long-term vision is to educate 100 million individuals in AI while accelerating adoption of AI tools globally.
The startup’s philosophy is rooted in a simple belief that has become its core positioning: AI will not replace professionals, but professionals who effectively use AI are likely to outperform those who don’t.
“Speaking about the company's vision, we measure success by outcomes along with certification and course completion. When professionals use AI to become more productive, land better package jobs, get promotions, that’s when we actually live up to our company philosophy" Goenka said.
Over the past years, one pattern kept repeating itself across Be10x learner success stories:
- 170%+ salary hike after landing a role in Adobe's AI Model Team.
- 55% salary hike by switching from a startup to an MNC within six months.
- 40% salary hike after securing multiple offers following AI and Power BI upskilling.
- 30% salary hike by turning prompt engineering skills into a better full-time opportunity.
- 20% salary hike through a promotion to an architect-level consulting role.
- 80% salary hike while moving into a leadership position with a ₹44 LPA package.
- 25% salary hike after bouncing back from a layoff.
And these weren't the only transformations.
A professional returned to the workforce after an 11-month career break and secured a consultant role at EY. A Sanskrit student with zero technical background earned freelance income and landed a startup internship by using AI-powered design and prompt engineering. A sales professional transitioned into operations and earned a promotion in just 1.5 months by automating reports, dashboards, and workflows using AI.
Different industries. Different backgrounds. One common denominator.
They stopped treating AI as another course, and started using it as a productivity multiplier.
Across these learner stories, AI wasn't replacing people. It was helping professionals:
- Automate reports instead of spending hours creating them.
- Build presentations in minutes.
- Generate project documentation faster.
- Create Power BI dashboards more efficiently.
- Improve interview preparation and confidence.
- Deliver more output with the same amount of time.
The outcome?
Higher productivity led to stronger performance; stronger performance opened doors to promotions; better skills translated into better interviews; and better interviews resulted in high paying jobs.
The biggest takeaway from our last year's learner success stories is simple: When professionals combine AI with domain expertise, communication skills, and consistent execution, the results speak for themselves, from promotions and career comebacks to salary hikes, job switches to leadership roles, and opportunities at some of the world's most competitive MNCs.
Building products beyond live workshops
While Be10x first gained visibility through its AI workshops for just Rs 9, the startup has gradually expanded into a broader AI learning ecosystem.
Its platform now includes AI certification programs, workflow playbooks, prompt libraries, presentation templates, Excel automation resources, LinkedIn optimization kits, resume toolkits, and career roadmaps designed to help professionals implement AI immediately after completing the course.
The startup has partnered with global AI platforms such as Google Gemini, Wispr Flow, Make.com, Chronicle HQ, DataSquirrel, Fireflies, and SuperGrow, enabling learners to build practical, job-ready skills using the same enterprise AI tools adopted by modern workplaces.
Riding India’s AI upskilling wave
The rapid adoption of generative AI has created one of the biggest reskilling opportunities in recent years, with enterprises increasingly expecting employees to become AI-enabled regardless of their technical background.
Be10x believes this shift is fundamentally changing professional education.
According to Kachave, AI has evolved into a workplace skill comparable to Excel or PowerPoint, one that is increasingly becoming essential across industries.
“The biggest gap today isn’t access to AI tools; it’s knowing how to use them effectively inside everyday work. That’s the problem we’re solving through practical implementation rather than theory,” Kachave said.
Expanding the AI learning ecosystem
Building on learner outcomes such as promotions, career transitions, and salary hikes of up to 170%, Be10x plans to expand its AI Career Accelerator with more industry-specific AI workflows, productivity-focused tools, and structured certification programs.
The company is also expanding its learning ecosystem around AI-powered research, presentations, automation, business analysis, and prompt engineering, helping professionals across experience levels apply AI to real workplace challenges, improve productivity, and unlock better career opportunities.
As generative AI becomes deeply embedded across enterprises, startups building practical AI education platforms are attracting growing attention from professionals seeking career advancement, higher productivity and future-ready skills. Be10x is looking to capitalize on that shift by building what it hopes will become one of India’s largest AI upskilling ecosystems.
