Wealth management firm Nexedge Capital raises $20M
Nexedge Capital said it will use this funding for enhancing its tech platform, hiring, and to come out with new offerings.
New Delhi-based wealth management firm Nexedge Capital has raised $20 million in its maiden funding round, led by Mirae Asset Venture Investment and Elev8 Venture Partners.
The company will use the funds to strengthen its technology platform, expand its network of senior bankers, and grow its presence across India, including in Tier II and III cities. It also plans to develop complementary offerings, including a dedicated proposition for NRIs and an NBFC business, according to a statement.
Founded in February 2025 by Anirudha Taparia, Nexedge Capital offers services spanning portfolio management, estate planning, business expansion and global mobility, tailored to the specific goals of each family. Taparia was previously the co-founder and joint CEO of 360 ONE Wealth.
“Our maiden raise marks an important milestone in Nexedge's journey. The confidence shown by our institutional investors reinforces our belief that this is a rare opportunity to build India's first true net-worth management firm, one that manages the entirety of a family's balance sheet rather than only its investible surplus,” said Anirudha Taparia, Founder & CEO, Nexedge Capital.
According to Nexedge, the firm has scaled to $3 billion in assets under management (AUM) across more than 1,300 clients over the past 18 months. It has also onboarded more than 95 senior bankers, with another 50-60 expected to join in 2026.
“What convinced us to back Nexedge is its ownership model. Over 150 senior leaders have invested their own capital to become owners, not just employees. This long-term commitment is the truest test of alignment in this business,” said Mirae Asset Venture Investment CEO Puneet Kumar.
“India's HNI and UHNI wealth pool is at the start of a multi-decade compounding cycle. Wealth management rewards patience, and trust is earned over market cycles, not quarters. Nexedge stands out for its structural clarity, the depth of its founding team,” said Navin Honagudi, Managing Partner at Elev8 Venture Partners.
