Amaani raises $5M in Series A
Amaani will use this funding round for expansion of its brand, product development, and enhancing technology
Amaani, the Dubai-based beauty and wellness startup, has raised $5 million in a Series A round of funding led by BECO Capital, with participation from Homegrown Ventures and Peak XV’s Surge.
Amaani said it will use this capital to expand its beauty brand AIZA across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region starting with Saudi Arabia followed by Kuwait and Qatar.
The funding will also be used towards product development, talent, and technology infrastructure.
Founded by Shubham Poddar, Amaani launched its brand in December 2024 and claimed that the net revenu of AIZA grew more than 9x on an year-on-year basis in the first half of 2026.
AÏZA offers skincare and haircare products inspired and uses ingredients such as dates, black seed, frankincense, rose and bakhoor, with formulations developed in laboratories across Korea, Japan and Italy.
AÏZA’s hero products include the Sukkar Rush lip treatment, Scent Storm hair mist, and Date Setter brow & lash serum. The brand’s formulations are vegan, cruelty-free, alcohol-free, and meet “Clean at Sephora” standards.
The brand is currently available through its website, Ounass and Ulta Beauty in the UAE.
