Physical AI startup SiMa.ai raises $150M in Series C
SiMa.ai said it will use the funding for scaling its agentic AI platform and to build hardware products.
SiMa.ai, a physical AI startup founded by Krishna Rangasayee, has raised $150 million in a Series C round co-led by Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify, with participation from Alter Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital.
The round also saw participation from StepStone Group, AllianceBernstein, Baron Capital, and J.P. Morgan. The funding values SiMa.ai at $1.45 billion and takes its total funding raised to $500 million.
The company said the fresh capital will be used to scale its agentic software platform for physical AI, Palette Neat, and develop hardware products, such as machine learning IP, chiplets, and system-on-chips (SoCs).
“Physical AI in humanoids, automotive, and drones is the gateway to a $50 trillion market that has remained largely untouched by modern innovation,” said Krishna Rangasayee, Founder and CEO at SiMa.ai.
“While others are still figuring out the pieces or repurposing their cloud offerings, we’ve built the entire puzzle. This investment will further catapult us into a dominant position, giving us the resources to scale our purpose-built platform and secure an undeniable lead in the Physical AI race,” he added.
Founded in 2018, the company develops technology that enables devices such as drones, robots, and vehicles to run AI applications without relying on cloud infrastructure. This can help reduce costs and latency.
According to the company, its revenue grew four-fold year-on-year between 2024 and 2025, and it continues to see strong revenue momentum in 2026.
Physical AI applications often require specialised computing hardware to process AI workloads locally. SiMa.ai develops chips and software for these applications and says its platform can reduce deployment times from months to days or hours.
