Bengaluru-based health intelligence company Ultrahuman has raised $70 million from investors such as Qualcomm Ventures, Labcorp, Alpha Wave, Blume Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners, and Alteria.
According to Ultrahuman, the new funding will be used to expand research and development across sensing, AI, miniaturised electronics, and health algorithms, while increasing investments in clinical science and large-scale research.
The company said the funding marks the next phase of its evolution from a wearable health technology company to a human-computer interface company focused on the body.
OpenAI unveils GPT-6 Astra for agentic digital helpers
OpenAI has released GPT-6 Astra, its latest AI model, designed to handle computer use, software engineering, scientific research, cybersecurity and other professional tasks. The model can perform multi-step tasks on a user’s behalf, including searching for flights, comparing prices, filling out forms and drafting emails.
Unlike earlier AI systems that mainly generated text or code, GPT-6 Astra can interact with websites, databases and software applications to complete tasks. It builds on advances in reinforcement learning, which helps AI models improve through practice and feedback.
OpenAI says Astra can handle complex workflows across professional, software development and scientific tasks, potentially reducing repetitive administrative work.
Adobe names Anil Chakravarthy CEO from December 1
Adobe is preparing for its biggest leadership change in nearly two decades, with Anil Chakravarthy set to take over as president and CEO on December 1, 2026. Shantanu Narayen, who has led the company as CEO since 2007, will transition to the role of executive chair. The leadership change comes as Adobe looks to turn rapid advances in artificial intelligence into a new phase of growth across its creative software, document tools and digital customer experience businesses.

Medulance has raised Rs 24 crore in a Series A-2 round from Auxano, Alkemi, Equentis, and other angel investors. The company said it will expand emergency response infrastructure across India, strengthen enterprise and hospital businesses, and invest in its technology platform, including 5G-enabled smart ambulances and real-time clinical capabilities.
Founded in 2017 by Pranav Bajaj and Ravjot Singh Arora, Medulance describes itself as a technology-enabled emergency healthcare company. According to the company, it operates a network of over 15,000 ambulances across more than 500 cities, covers over 8 million lives, and handles about 5,000 calls a day, with a sub-11-minute average response time and 95% fleet uptime. It said it has raised $ 5 million across two rounds.

The EPIC Company has announced the acquihire of The Dosa Studios to accelerate its GenAI-Universe strategy. The company said co-founders Annanyaa Nautiyal and Anwar Khan, along with key GenAI artists, will join EPIC AI Lab to drive generative workflows across formats. No deal value was disclosed.
