Whatfix Co-founder and CEO Khadim Batti passes away
Batti co-founded Whatfix with Vara Kumar in 2014 in Bengaluru. The company is a digital adoption platform (DAP) that overlays software applications to provide real-time, in-app guidance, training, and analytics for users and employees.
Khadim Batti, the Co-founder and CEO of the SaaS company Whatfix, passed away earlier today. According to reports, the 49-year-old died of a heart attack. The news of his passing was confirmed by Avinash Raghavendra of AIBoomi on Twitter. Batti was also a member of AI Boomi (Previously SaaS Boomi).

Before Whatfix, Khadim was the Co-founder & CEO at SearchEnabler, and Delivery Head - DPI & BI Solutions at Huawei Technologies India Private Limited.
"Khadim has been such an important part of our AIBoomi community and of the larger SaaS and AI ecosystem in India. So many of us have known him over the years, shared rooms and conversations with, learnt from, and deeply respected. His journey with Whatfix inspired so many founders in this community. But beyond everything he built, I will remember Khadim for the person he was," Raghavendra tweeted.
According to IIITB, Whatfix has more than 500 customers, including more than 100 Fortune 1000 customers. It has raised $140 million from marquee investors such as SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Sequoia, Cisco Investments, and Dragoneer. The company has more than 800 employees and offices in the US, India, the UK, Germany, and Australia.
In October 2019, Whatfix acquired AI platform Airim. In 2021, they acquired the learning management system Nittio Learn in August 2021 and the mobile assistance platform Leap.is in April 2022.
