Women’s wellness brand Nua raises $50M in Series C round led by Peak XV, Filter Capital
Nua will use the funding towards its next phase of growth as it aims to reach Rs 500 crore in annualised revenue in the next two years from Rs 100 crore now.
Women’s wellness brand Nua has raised $50 million in a Series C round of funding led by Peak XV & Filter Capital along with participation from existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures.
The funding round includes primary raise and secondaries offering partial exits to Kae Capital, Lightbox VC, and existing angel investors, a statement said.
Nua plans to deploy the capital towards its next phase of growth with a focus on brand building, expanding reach and distribution, and strengthening R&D.
Mumbai-headquartered Nua Founded was in 2017. It says it serves over 3 million women and girls every month across categories including zero irritation period care, maternity care, and everyday intimate care.
Nua's founder & CEO Ravi Ramachandran said, “Since our inception, we have sought to address neglected needs in women's wellness through better-for-her products and a brand that genuinely speaks to today's young women and girls.”
He said the funding will help scale Nua's annualised revenue run rate from Rs 100 crore to ₹500 crore in 24 months, while remaining profitable. “As we look ahead, we will continue to anticipate the evolving needs of women and build products that make a meaningful difference to their everyday lives.”
Nua recently launched the digital offerings Nua Period Tracker app and SecretKeeper chat to engage with consumers beyond its product portfolio.
