Tech Mahindra and ServiceNow take enterprise AI beyond pilots
Tech Mahindra and ServiceNow are expanding their partnership to help enterprises move AI projects from pilots into production.
AI is leaving the pilot stage and moving into the real world. ServiceNow and Tech Mahindra are expanding their multi-year partnership to help businesses move AI from small experiments to full-scale deployments.
Announced on 20 August 2026, the partnership combines ServiceNow’s AI Platform with Tech Mahindra’s industry expertise to help organisations automate processes, scale AI adoption and see measurable business results.
From pilots to production with a Client Zero approach
A key feature is the Client Zero model, in which Mahindra & Mahindra Group and Tech Mahindra act as live validation environments before rolling out proven blueprints to clients.
Tech Mahindra already unifies its global IT operations on ServiceNow, handling over 100,000 cases per month across 90 countries, providing practical evidence to shorten implementation cycles for others.
Industry‑ready AI and a new centre of excellence
The partners will co‑create industry‑specific solutions on the ServiceNow AI Platform for sectors including manufacturing, telecommunications, BFSI, media and technology.
Tech Mahindra will also scale its ServiceNow practice and establish a dedicated AI & Innovation Centre of Excellence to speed adoption of capabilities such as the ServiceNow AI Control Tower, which orchestrates AI across tools and data, and EmployeeWorks for workforce experiences.
Why this matters for enterprises now
Enterprises are prioritising execution at scale over experimentation. By embedding AI into workflows, controls and operating models, the partnership aims to improve productivity and governance while reducing costs.
Within Tech Mahindra, the ServiceNow AI Platform is already enhancing experiences for 150,000 employees and improving first‑line IT support by about 25%, pointing to the types of outcomes customers can target when moving to production.
What to watch next
Expect structured roadmaps that emphasise platform adoption, robust governance frameworks and outcome tracking. With a balance of platform strength and industry context, the collaboration is designed to help customers operationalise AI responsibly and at scale, turning fragmented initiatives into coordinated programmes that deliver sustained value.
