Anand Kumar Bajaj is the Founder, MD & CEO of PayNearby, India's leading branchless banking and digital distribution platform. An IIM Ahmedabad alumnus and Chartered Accountant, Anand has over 23 years of experience in digital payments, banking, and financial services, and holds six patents in banking technology. Before founding PayNearby in 2016, he held leadership positions at YES Bank, ICICI Bank, and Ernst & Young, where he led several innovations in digital banking. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Business Correspondent Federation of India (BCFI) and contributes to academia through leadership roles at Welingkar Institute of Management and NMIMS. His work focuses on advancing financial inclusion and building technology-enabled access for underserved communities across Bharat.
