Aprameya Radhakrishna is the Co-Founder of Koo- India’s local microblogging platform. Launched in 2020, Koo is the brainchild of founders Aprameya Radhakrishna and Mayank Bidawatka who wanted to create a platform to discover and connect people with similar interests and languages. Aprameya is the co-founder of Vokal, an expert-based vernacular Q&A platform in Indian languages. He has also co-founded Bombinate Technologies- the holding company that builds products for the Indian vernacular audiences. Vokal and Koo are products of the same company.
As a serial entrepreneur, Aprameya co-founded the cab aggregator ‘TaxiForSure’ which was acquired by Ola at $200 million in 2015. Aprameya is a National Institute of Technology (NIT) and an Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) graduate. He worked with Jones Lang La Salle for a few years before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey. He is an angel investor who has been with over 35 startups such as Vogo, ThirdWave, Yolo Bus, Unacademy, Open Bank, etc to name a few.
