Edul Patel

An erudite entrepreneur, Edul Patel is the CEO and Co-founder of Mudrex, a Y Combinator backed platform for automated crypto trading. Edul brings with himself over 10 years of experience deep-rooted in finance, entrepreneurship and building tech-driven applications. He graduated in the year 2011 from India’s most prestigious school of engineering – IIT Bombay. As a student, Edul was not only passionate about his subjects but was equally zealous about all the extra-curricular activities. He managed and executed one of the most distinguished events in college – Techfest. Technology and the innumerable advancements in the field never ceased to catch Edul’s eye. As an avid reader and consistent learner, he believes in sharing his knowledge with others, which is vividly showcased in his role as the chief editor of Pulse- the Science and Technology Magazine of IIT Bombay. Post-graduation, he joined Deutsche Bank as a Senior Business Analyst. During his tenure, he worked in FX Risk and Margining desk and led the product management as well as business development wings of a real time risk management portfolio. After 2 years of working, Edul embarked on his dream of being an entrepreneur and co-founded Niffler. The brainchild of three IIT graduates, Niffler is a state-of-the-art platform that notified users about latest deals, subsequently enabling them to make their purchases at the best price. The platform was later acquired by Tapzo. Edul moved on to become the Product Head – App Core and Infrastructure at Tapzo where he contributed in day to day operations for about 3 years. Currently, Edul with an undying appetite for growth, learning and hard work is spearheading one of the most enticing platforms for trading in cryptocurrencies – Mudrex. He endeavours to create a reliable ecosystem for traders, wherein they can operate without any stress or hassle. The company is a splendid blend of its co-founders love for finance and vast knowledge in the field of technology. With this fast-growing enterprise, he aims to create an investor-friendly environment in India and overseas.
