Gaurav Arora

Gaurav Arora, SVP, DeFi Initiatives, Okto. Gaurav leads the new DeFi vertical from the house of CoinDCX, aiming to simplify access to opportunities for customers in a decentralized economy. He oversees product development, business planning, strategy, and global expansion for the international product, Okto, a self-custody DeFi wallet available in over 60 countries. Gaurav brings over a decade's experience in building large fintech superapps. In his previous role as Director of Products at Amazon Pay India, he launched and scaled digital payments across various categories, including bill payments, money transfers, financial service payments, and movie ticketing. He also introduced the Amazon Pay wallet product, which is ranked among the top wallets in India. An IIT Roorkee Computer Science graduate and an MBA from IIM-B in finance, Gaurav also possesses trading expertise from his time as an equities trader at Lehman Brothers and Nomura Securities in Hong Kong. There, he designed and traded arbitrage models across Asian markets.
