Kulin Shah

Armed with an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Kulin joined the prestigious trainee program of Aditya Birla Group where he largely worked with the group corporate strategy team under the M&A program.. This was followed by Madura Garments and his final deputation was with Idea Cellular Ltd as a part of the Enterprise Business Unit. After Aditya Birla Group, he went to join Reliance Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Reliance Capital. He was responsible for building the deal pipeline for early-stage investments, building a network, and interacting with founders, CEOs, top management, and other VCs. After 3.5 years as a VC, he founded - Wishberg - a social platform to enable people to track their bucket lists. Wishberg was acquired by FreeCharge in July 2014.   At Freecharge, he worked as an Associate Vice President. An ardent believer in the power of technology, he acted as the voice of the product teams to external stakeholders and the voice of the customers/partners to the internal product teams to drive growth and revenue objectives of the company. He was responsible for driving growth partnerships and worked with brands like Amazon, Line Messenger, Myntra, Ola, Redbus and others, driving approximately 2 million transactions over a period of 12 months. Post the Snapdeal acquisition, he was given the mandate to launch and lead Freecharge Wallet for all Online Merchants. Kulin lead a team of 14 members to build a network of over 100,000 merchants within 12 months of launch including leading startups like - Zomato, Rapido, Swiggy, Redbus, Goibibo, BookMyShow, Jabong and others.  Post an 8-month sabbatical in New York, Kulin joined as the 30th (AGI030) employee of the company to head the digital partnerships business for Acko. With his personal network and goodwill, he has helped Acko onboard clients like Rapido, Redbus, Zomato, Dunzo, UrbanClap and others. During his time with the company, he built a team of 8-10 members and helped the company acquire over 40mn users and 126 crores in revenue. Kulin Shah has over 14 years of experience in launching and driving business P&L, category management, product management, brands partnerships, growth, business development and venture capital. He has been a mentor to multiple start-ups (TIE-BootCamp, Google and others), a panelist at major industry events and an Angel Investor in multiple companies.  Kulin joined Onsurity in March 2020 and is responsible for the overall growth of the company.
