Mohammed Sajid Khan

Mohammed Sajid Khan is the Head of International Development, ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). His current role builds on over a decade of experience working for ACCA, where he has gained considerable experience in projects to develop and sustain the accountancy profession, working with partners and other stakeholders to meet the demand for accountants in growing economies. Previously Sajid was the Head of Business Development – Education, ACCA Middle East. This wide ranging role involved business development in the Middle East, working closely with Colleges, Universities and the ACCA Learning Partners in the region. He was also responsible for executing ACCA’s Education strategy in the Middle East, and also for managing key relationships with the Learning Partners, which included ongoing support and monitoring. Sajid has been a member of ACCA’s global leadership team for over 10 years. During this time, Sajid has also been the Country Manager for ACCA Oman until March 2012, when he took up the regional role as Head of Business Development – Education, Middle East. An experienced academic in accountancy and finance, prior to joining ACCA, Sajid lectured for 11 years, teaching financial accounting to undergraduates, ACCA and CAT students at Higher College of Technology, Ministry of Manpower, Sultanate of Oman and also at an ACCA Approved Learning Partner.
