Mohit Sharma

Mohit Sharma, is the Co-Founder, Oye! Rickshaw, one of the largest and fastest-growing EV mobility players in India. With an aim to solve the first/last mile connectivity problem of the urban commuter Mohit co-founded Oye! Rickshaw in 2017. Over the last four years, Mohit has steered the start-up to become the largest e-rickshaw aggregatorin the country and complete over 5.2Mn+ rides through its 5,000+ strong rickshaw driver base. An IIT- Delhi graduate, Mohit has worked with Hero MotoCorp. in the new product development dept. and launched 10+ models within a span of 24 months. His strong areas at work are - business, strategy, investor relations, networking and product. Post Hero MotoCorp, Mohit founded his first venture in 2015 - Jangid Motors, which made India's first Indigenous Electric Rickshaw. Mass producing these vehicles got Mohit to realise the unaddressed problem of the first and the last mile. That was the turning point which led to the formation of Oye! Rickshaw. Born and brought up in Delhi, Mohit has enjoyed building & programming robots and mini vehicles all through his graduation years. He is a tech and science enthusiast and has always been interested in electric mobility. Mohit takes inspiration from his role models and iconic entrepreneurs like Steve Jobs and Elon Musk.
