Pankaj Parwanda is the Co-founder of goSTOPS, India’s leading youth travel hostel brand, which started with the key objective of redefining travel through vibrant, design-led social spaces.
He came across the concept of hostels for the first time in 2012, while on a backpacking trip to Europe with Pallavi Agarwal, Founder and CEO. He firmly believes that social, engaging spaces offer travellers real conversations with fellow like-minded individuals, allowing them to experience their journeys as transformative, soul-searching instances and not just another ‘trip’. As the co-founder, his key responsibilities are to drive sales, raise funds and leverage technology to accelerate growth, bringing focus to scalability.
Pankaj graduated in 2006 from Manipal Institute of Technology as an Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer. Be it Operations, Pre-sales, Tech Consulting or Sales, Pankaj has done it all, with stints at Ericsson, Huawei and Nokia, to name a few. In addition, he was selected for the accelerated leadership program and was part of the young advisory board to the APAC Chairman at Ericsson, highlighting his keen entrepreneurial spirit from the get-go.
