Pranay Bhatia

Pranay Bhatia is the Partner and Leader - Corporate Tax (West) with the Tax and Regulatory Services, BDO India. Bhatia has over 20 years of professional experience specialising in international tax issues, regulatory and tax compliances, and double tax treaty planning. In addition to being the ILP for BDO in India, he is also an active member of the India-US desk. He has assisted in setting up domestic and offshore funds ranging from tax structuring (including carry structuring), regulatory perspectives and advising on post set-up phase and has advised on Indian private equity transactions, including review of deal documentation and related structuring from a tax and regulatory perspective.
