Prema brings over 18 years of experience across corporate and impact lending, government payment projects, digital payments, branchless banking, digital transformation, and ICT solutions. A leader at Caspian Debt, now merged into BlackSoil Capital, she continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening BlackSoil’s operations and enhancing its risk management capabilities.
Across her career, Prema has led several business-critical and impact-oriented products and processes end-to-end, consistently driving efficiency, innovation, and purpose-driven outcomes. Prior to her current role, she served as AVP – Operations and Monitoring at FINO Paytech Ltd. Earlier in her career, she also worked with Hewlett Packard in IT, managing cross geography applications.
Prema holds a B.Tech degree from VTU Karnataka, and a Post Graduate MBA in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Gujarat.
